아직 그리고 이미

Between Yet and Already

 

 

과녁에 조준하는 건 “아직”

방아쇠를 당기면 “이미”

Aiming to the target is “Yet”

Having pulled the trigger is “Already”

 

건축가의 설계도는 “아직”

벽돌 한 장 한 장 쌓여지면 “이미”

The blue print of an architect is “Yet”

Having laid brick on brick is “Already”

 

뱃속에서 꼬르륵 소리 나면 “아직”

냉장고 문 열어야 “이미”

Hearing the stomach growling is “Yet”

Having opened the fridge door is “Already”

 

시 한 편 두들길 때 “아직”

블로그 저장 단추 눌러야 “이미”

Typing a poem on the screen is “Yet”

Having pressed the save button on my blog is “Already”

 

 

이 세상도 “아직” 생겨나지 않았을 때

조물주는 대폭발의 단추를

누르는데 얼마나 망설였을까

When this world was not formed “Yet”

How long had Creator pondered

To push the button of Big Bang?

 

참고 참고 참다

걷잡을 수 없이 폭발해 버리니

Holding and holding and holding back,

Imploding and exploding,

Finally, without stopping

 

“이미” 벌어지고 있는 세상 일 보면

고심하고 또 고심하신 듯

He must have brooded over

How things in this world have

Rolled “Already!”
